About the ACSE

The ACSE has a long and proud history of service to its members, and the profession, since its inception in 1933, and has contributed to many positive changes within the industry including the formation of Consult Australia. Some of Australia’s most influential structural engineers were proud members of our Association.

The ACSE is run by a peer elected Board of Management and membership is open to engineers whose principal activity is consulting in the field of structural engineering.

The ACSE is committed to:

  • Promoting the profession of structural engineering
  • Providing opportunities for networking and collaboration with industry leaders
  • Professional development and learning
  • Highlighting structural engineering as a career option

Our mission is to continue and grow the ACSE’s representation, promotion and enhancement of the structural engineering profession in NSW. We have a strategic plan to guide our activities.

Our membership is comprised of senior engineers from a diverse range of firms and consultancies. Our members enjoy networking opportunities and access to professional resources and publications.

The ACSE enjoys a mutually beneficial relationship with seven industry partners that provide annual sponsorship for our events.
